50 Milliliter Wasser
4 Esslöffel Mandelmus
120 Gramm braunen Zucker
200 Gramm weißes Mehl
50 Gramm Speisestärke
1 Teelöffel Backpulver
1 Prise Tafelsalz
3 Teelöffel Zimt
1 Teelöffel Lebkuchengewürz

Außerdem:
etwas weißes Mehl für die Arbeitsfläche

Verrühren Sie das Rapsöl, 50 Milliliter Wasser, den braunen Zucker und das Mandelmus mit einem Kochlöffel in einer Schüssel. Dann sieben Sie das Mehl und das Backpulver in eine weitere Schüssel mischen die Gewürze unter.

Danach geben Sie das Mehlgemisch zu den feuchten Zutaten und kneten die Zutaten zu einem geschmeidigen Teig. Eventuell müssen Sie noch etwas Wasser hinzufügen.

Anschließend bestäuben Sie eine Arbeitsfläche mit etwas weißem Mehl und rullen den Teig auf der Arbeitsfläche aus. Danach stechen Sie bitte Plätzchen aus (wir nehmen dafür immer ein Trinkglas damit die Plätzchen immer die gleiche Größe haben).

Jetzt backen Sie die Kekse bitte bei 180 Grad Celsius (Oberhitze/Unterhitze) etwa 12 Minuten, lassen sie nach der Backzeit auf einem Küchenrost auskühlen und servieren die Spekulatius Ihren Gästen.

Unser Tipp:
Studien zeigen, dass zu viel Salz im Essen ungesund ist - zu wenig kann aber auch schädlich sein. Die deutsche Gesellschaft für Ernährung (DGE) empfiehlt täglich sechs Gramm Salz, was etwa einem Teelöffel entspricht, oder gar die fünf Gramm, zu denen die Weltgesundheitsorganisation rät!
