350 Gramm weißes Mehl
1/2 Paket Backpulver (4-5 Gramm)
220 Gramm weiche Margarine
140 Gramm brauner Zucker
2 Teelöffel, gehäuft Ingwerpulver

Außerdem:
etwas Backpapier

Heizen Sie den Backofen auf 200 Grad Celsius (Oberhitze/Unterhitze) vor. Dann geben Sie die weiche (eventuell weich schlagen) Margarine in eine Schüssel, fügen Sie den braunen Zucker mit dem Ingwerpulver hinzu und arbeiten Sie die beiden Zutaten in die Margarine ein. Danach sieben Sie das weiße Mehl mit dem Backpulver in die Schüssel, verrühren das Ganze und verarbeiten die Zutaten zu einem festen, etwas klebrigen Teig (wir vermischen die Zutaten immer mit den Händen).

Nun formen Sie aus dem Teig Walnussgroße Kugeln und legen sie auf ein Backblech mit Backpapier. Anschließend "plätten" Sie die Kugeln mit einer Gabel, die Sie mit wenig Wasser befeuchten (Höhe etwa 1 - 1,5 Zentimeter). Die Menge reicht für etwa 1 Blech.

Dann backen Sie das Gebäck im vorgeheizten Backofen in der Mitte etwa 12-15 Minuten. Nach dem Backen lassen Sie die Kekse auf einem Küchenrost abkühlen und lagern sie bis zum Verzehr gut verschlossen.

Unser Tipp:
In Tupperdosen halten sich die Kekse lange und bleiben schön knusprig.
