Einfache braune Zwiebelsuppe

Menge: 4 Portionen

500 g Zwiebeln
30 g Fett
30 g Mehl
;Wasser zum Auffuellen
;Salz
;Pfeffer

Zwiebeln in duenne Scheiben schneiden und in Fett hellbraun braten.
Mehl dazugeben und mitroesten. (Die Zwiebel duerfen nicht zu dunkel
werden, sonst schmecken sie bitter!)
Unter staendigem Ruehren Wasser zugiessen, bis Suppe saemig ist.
Mit Pfeffer und Salz abschmecken.
30 min. langsam kochen lassen.
Goldbraun geroestete Weissbrotscheiben zur Suppe reichen.
