600 g Steckrueben
2 tb Orangensaft
1 Zwiebel
20 g Butter oder Margarine
1 tb Honig
400 ml Huehnerbruehe
Geriebene Muskatnuss
2 tb Tomatenmark
100 ml Suesse Sahne
30 g Putenschinken in Scheiben
1 tb Gehackte Petersilie


Fuer Babys und Kleinkinder: Leichte Mittagsmahlzeit

Zu Unrecht sind Steckrueben aus der Mode gekommen: Sie sind reich an
Beta-Karotin, Kalzium und den Vitaminen B1, B2 und C. Durch einen
relativ hohen Traubenzuckergehalt schmecken sie etwas suesslich und
sind besonders leicht verdaulich - ideal fuer kleine Esser.

Die Rueben waschen und schaelen. Mit der Kuechenmaschine raspeln oder
mit dem Messer in Wuerfel schneiden, mit Orangensaft betraeufeln.
Zwiebel abziehen und feinwuerfeln. Beides im heissen Fett von allen
Seiten anduensten, dabei den Honig zugeben. So lange duensten, bis das
Gemuese anzusetzen beginnt. Tomatenmark einruehren, mit Huehnerbruehe
abloeschen, mit Muskatnuss wuerzen und in etwa 15 Minuten bei
geschlossenem Deckel garen. Mit dem Puerierstab puerieren und mit Sahne
abschmecken. Schinken in feine Wuerfel schneiden und mit der
Petersilie auf die Suppe streuen.

Tip:
Diese Suppe laesst sich prima portionsweise einfrieren. Sie haben dann
eine Abendmahlzeit fuer Ihr Kind oder eine Alternative, wenn es
mittags etwas fuers Kleinkind Ungeeignetes gibt. Wenn die Grossen
mitessen: 1 Erwachsenen-Portion = 2 Kinderportionen. Statt Schinken
koennen Sie auch gebratene Huehnerbruststreifen nehmen.

Pro Kinderportion ca. 81 kcal, pro Erwachsenenportion ca. 162 kcal.
