6 kleine Zwiebeln
10 große Rote Chilischoten
10 gro0e Grüne Chilischoten
750 Milliliter Wasser
500 Milliliter Obstessig (siehe Tipp)
100 Gramm Zucker
1 Esslöffel Salz
6 Knoblauchzehen
2 Zweige Thymian
2 Zweige Rosmarin
2 Lorbeerblätter

Zwiebeln evtl. halbieren. Chilischoten waschen und mit einer Gabel
mehrmals einstechen. Wasser, Essig und Zucker zum Kochen bringen.
Salz zugeben. Zwiebeln, Knoblauch, Chilischoten, Thymian, Rosmarin
und Lorbeerblätter beifügen und einmal aufkochen. Alles zusammen
in heiß ausgespülten Gläser füllen, verschließen und mindestens 24 Stunden
durchziehen lassen. Chilischoten mit den Zwiebeln, Knoblauch und Gewürzen
anrichten und als Beilage zu Fleisch - oder als Vorspeise... - servieren. Diese
eingelegten Chilischoten halten, gut verschlossen im Kühlschrank aufbewahrt,
etwa drei Monate.
