1 sm Fenchelknolle (ca. 100 g)

150 g Mehlig kochende Kartoffeln
80 ml Vollmilch
1 ts Butter


Fuer Babys und Kleinkinder: Milder Mittagsbrei

Kartoffeln sollten Sie mindestens 4- bis 5mal pro Woche servieren,
denn sie enthalten hochwertiges pflanzliches Eiweiss und viel Vitamin
C. Fenchel wirkt beruhigend und ist deshalb optimal fuer die
Kleinkindkost.

Den Fenchel gut waschen und putzen. Das zarte Fenchelgruen beiseite
legen. Die Kartoffeln gruendlich waschen. Fenchel und Kartoffeln mit
etwas Salzwasser in einen Topf geben, zum Kochen bringen und in ca.
25 Minuten garen. Das Gemuese in einem Sieb abtropfen lassen. Den
Fenchel mit dem Puerierstab feinpuerieren. Die Kartoffeln pellen, zum
Fenchel geben und mit einer Gabel zerdruecken. Die Milch erwaermen, das
Gemuesemus mit dem Schneebesen unterschlagen. Die Butter und das
feingehackte Fenchelgruen unterziehen.

Tip:
Wenn Sie schon dabei sind Gemuese zu putzen und zu puerieren, koennen Sie
diesen Brei auch auf Vorrat herstellen: Kaufen Sie entsprechend grosse
Mengen Gemuese ein, kochen Sie mehrere Portionen auf einmal und
frieren Sie diese einzeln in Gefrierbeuteln ein. Bei Gebrauch koennen
Sie spaeter einfach einen Beutel aus dem Gefrierfach holen, den Brei
kurz aufkochen lassen und im Teller mit der Butter verruehren.
Variieren koennen Sie den Brei, indem Sie zusaetzlich 20 g pueriertes,
gegartes Fleisch zugeben oder statt Fenchel Moehren verwenden.
Wechseln Sie ab zwischen Butter und Keimoel.
