125 g Polenta (Maisgriess)
250 ml Milch
100 ml Gemuesebruehe
50 g Moehren
50 g Brokkoliroeschen
1 ts Butter oder ungehaertete
- Pflanzenmargarine
1 Ei

Ab und zu sollen Kinder auch einmal mit den Fingern essen duerfen.
Diese Polenta-Stueckchen sind dafuer bestens geeignet. Man kann sie
aber auch als Loeffel-Essen mit Tomatensauce anrichten.

Polenta mit Milch und Gemuesebruehe in einem Topf mischen, unter Ruehren
zum Kochen bringen. Bei milder Hitze etwa 15 Minuten unter
gelegentlichem Ruehren ausquellen lassen. Moehren und Brokkoli waschen
und putzen. Moehren mit der Kuechenmaschine oder einer Gemueseraspel in
feine Streifen raspeln. Brokkoli so hacken, dass die Stuecke etwa so
gross sind wie die Moehrenraspel. Butter oder Margarine erhitzen, das
Gemuese darin 2-3 Minuten unter Ruehren bissfest garen. Gemueseraspel
und Ei unter die Polenta mischen. Eine kleine, flache Auflaufform
einfetten. Backofen auf 175 Grad (Gas Stufe 2-3) vorheizen. Polenta
ca. 2 cm dick in die Auflaufform streichen und im vorgeheizten Ofen
etwa 20 Minuten backen. Polenta in der Form ruhen lassen und dann in
Streifen schneiden oder beliebig andere Formen ausstechen.

Tip: Wenn Ihr Kind aelter als ein Jahr ist, brauchen Sie das Gemuese
nicht mehr ganz so fein zu raspeln und koennen die Polenta vor dem
Backen mit Salz und Pfeffer abschmecken.

Also meine Kleine mag Weizengriessbrei und auch Maisgriessbrei. Ich
gebe ihr dazu gerne kleingeschnippelte Pfirsichstueckchen aus der
Dose. Die schlotzt sie mit wahrer Begeisterung in sich hinein.
