2.5 kg Schmorgurken
1/2 l Weinessig
3/4 l Wasser
800 g Zucker
2 ts Salz (evtl. mehr)
12 Nelken
2 Zimtstangen
200 g Kandis
Dill
Senfkörner

Gurken schälen, längs halbieren und Kerne herausschaben. Gurken in
dicke Scheiben oder Stücke schneiden.
Essig mit Wasser, Zucker, Salz und Gewürzen ankochen, Gurken 6 bis
8 Minuten darin glasig kochen.
Gurken mit den Gewürzen, Kandis, Dill und Senfkörnern in vorbereitete
Gläser schichten. Mit Essigsud übergießen, Gläser mit Ring und Deckel
verschließen und 20 bis 25 Minuten bei 80Â°C einkochen.
