Menge: 2 Portionen

500 g Kastanien; geschaelt
-- frisch o. tiefgefroren
5 dl ;Wasser (1)
300 g Honig
1 Prise Vanillemark
1 dl ;Wasser (2)

Wasser (1) aufkochen, die Kastanien zugeben und 20 Minuten koecheln
lassen. Wasser abgiessen, die Kastanien durchs Passe-vite treiben.
Honig, Vanillezucker und Wasser (2) beigeben, alles gut vermischen
und 24 Stunden an einem nicht zu warmen Ort stehen lassen.

Am naechsten Tag gibt man das Kastanienpueree in einen Kochtopf,
kocht es unter Ruehren 20 Minuten und fuellt es in heiss
ausgespuelten Glaeser ein.
