4 große Blätter Wirsing
200 Gramm gekochte Linsen
100 Gramm gekochter Reis
1 Zwiebel, fein gehackt
2 Knoblauchzehen, fein gehackt
1 Esslöffel Olivenöl
1 Teelöffel Paprikapulver, edelsüß
1 Teelöffel Kreuzkümmel, gemahlen
1 Teelöffel Oregano, getrocknet
1 Teelöffel Zimt
1 Esslöffel Zitronensaft
400 Milliliter Tomatensauce
Etwas Salz
Etwas Pfeffer, frisch aus der Mühle

Die Wirsingblätter mit heißem Wasser abspülen und abtropfen lassen.

In einer Pfanne das Olivenöl erhitzen. Zwiebel und Knoblauch darin anbraten, bis sie goldbraun sind.

Die gekochten Linsen, den Reis, Paprikapulver, Kreuzkümmel, Oregano, Zimt und Zitronensaft hinzufügen. Alles gut vermengen. Mit Salz und Pfeffer abschmecken.

Die Mischung in die Mitte jedes Wirsingblattes geben und das Blatt fest aufrollen. Die Enden einschlagen, damit die Füllung nicht herausfällt.

Die Tomatensauce in eine Auflaufform gießen und die Rouladen nebeneinander hineinlegen.

Im vorgeheizten Backofen bei 180 Grad Ober- und Unterhitze (oder 160 Grad Umluft) etwa 30 Minuten backen, bis die Rouladen schön gar sind.

Unsere Tipps:
Um die Rouladen besonders fein zu servieren, können Sie etwas Olivenöl auf die fertigen Rouladen träufeln und frische Kräuter wie Koriander oder Petersilie hinzufügen.
Erwärmen Sie die Tomatensauce vor dem Backen leicht, um den Geschmack zu intensivieren.
Servieren Sie die Rouladen auf vorgewärmten Tellern, damit sie länger heiß bleiben, wie es in der gehobenen Gastronomie üblich ist.
