Gewürz-Brot mit kandierten Früchten

Menge: 2 Portionen

175 Gramm Butter
75 Gramm Vanillezucker
2 Eier (Größe M)
300 Gramm weißes Mehl
2 Teelöffel Backpulver
50 Gramm Rosinen
50 Gramm Mandeln; gehackt
50 Gramm Kandierte Orangenschalen
- gehackt
50 Gramm Kandierte Zitronenschale
- gehackt
1 Teelöffel Anissamen
1 Teelöffel Zimt; gemahlen
1 Teelöffel Gewürznelken; gemahlen

Gewürz-Brote findet man in ganz Europa. Die Gewürze sind je nach Land
etwas verschieden, aber die Grundidee ist dieselbe. Man kann also je
nach Geschmack andere Gewürze, Trockenfrüchte und Nüsse verwenden.

Butter und Zucker schaumig schlagen. Die Eier eins nach dem andren
hineingeben.

Die Hälfte vom Mehl mit dem Backpulver sieben und alle
Trockenfrüchte und Gewürze hineinmischen (die kandierten Früchte
müssen sehr gut mit Mehl belegt sein: sonst werden sie im Brot
unregelmäßig verteilt sein).

Diese Mischung in die obige Butter-Zucker-Ei-Masse geben und gut
vermischen. Das übrige Mehl nach und nach hinzufügen. Falls der
Teig zu trocken wird, etwas Milch dazu gießen.

Den Teig kurz auf bemehlter Fläche durchkneten, bis er seine Form
behält. In kleinen (500 Gramm) gebutterten Cake-formen geben.

In vorgeheiztem Ofen bei 180 Grad Celsius etwa 40 Minuten backen;
mit einem Holz spieß kontrollieren: bis zur Mitte eingesteckt, sollte kein
Teig mehr kleben bleiben.
