400 g Kartoffeln; mehlig kochend
150 g Möhren
150 g Rote Bete
50 g Weißkohl
2 mittlere Zwiebeln
3 Esslöffel Ghee; oder Butterschmalz
1/2 Teelöffel Chili pulver
1 Teelöffel Paprikapulver edelsueß
1 Teelöffel Kreuzkümmel pulver
Salz
2 Eier; 1 - 2
150 g Semmelbrösel
1/2 l Öl; zum Frittieren

Kartoffeln, Möhren und rote Bete waschen, schälen und in etwa
2 cm große Würfel schneiden. In einem Topf mit einem Liter Wasser
geben und bei mittlerer Hitze etwa 20 Minuten kochen lassen, bis
alle Gemüse weich sind. In ein Sieb geben und abtropfen lassen.
Weißkohl waschen und fein hacken, Zwiebeln schälen und ebenfalls
kleinschneiden. In einem Topf oder einer Karai Ghee erhitzen, die
Zwiebeln darin bei mittlerer Hitze goldbraun werden lassen. Weißkohl
hinzufügen und alles bei schwacher Hitze unter Rühren etwa
10 Minuten schmoren lassen.

Das gekochte Gemüse durch die Kartoffelpresse drücken und mit
dem geschmorten Gemüse in eine Schüssel geben, Chili pulver,
Paprika, Kreuzkümmel und Salz untermischen. Eventuell etwas
Semmelbrösel dazugeben, damit die Masse gut formbar ist. Dann aus
der Masse 12 flache, runde Koteletts formen.

Ei verquirlen und in einen Teller geben, die 12 Koteletts erst im
Ei und anschließend in den Semmelbröseln wenden.
Öl in einer Pfanne oder einen Topf erhitzen, die Gemüsekoteletts
portionsweise von beiden Seiten jeweils 2-4 Minuten braten, bis
sie goldbraun sind.
Mit Minzsauce, Lime-Pickels oder Apfelchutney servieren.
