Feurige Tomaten - Cranberry Sauce

Menge: 2 Portionen

1/2 Zwiebel
1 Knoblauchzehe
1 Chilischote(n), rot
1 Paket Tomate, passierte
1 Esslöffel Konfitüre (rotes Johannisbeergelee), kann weggelassen werden
75 Gramm Cranberries, getrocknete
40 Gramm Walnüsse
2 Zweige Rosmarin
eventuell Parmesan

Die Zwiebel, den Knoblauch und die Chili schneiden Sie klein und schwitzen alles in etwas heißem Olivenöl an.
Die Tomaten, Cranberries und das Gelee geben Sie dazu und lassen alles etwa 5-6 Minuten leise köcheln.
Abgeschmeckt wird mit Salz.

Diese Sauce passt sehr gut zu Gnocchi.
