1 Zwiebel (pro Stück etwa 30 Gramm)
1/2 grüne Chilischote
200 Gramm Weizenmehl
75 Gramm Kokosraspel
1/2 gestrichenen Teelöffel Salz
150 Milliliter lauwarmes Wasser
8 Esslöffel Speiseöl, zum Beispiel Sonnenblumenöl

Schälen Sie die Zwiebeln und würfeln Sie sie fein. Die Chilischotenhälften spülen Sie ab, tupfen sie trocken,
entsteinen sie, entkernen sie und würfel sie fein. Das Mehl mischen Sie mit dem Salz und den Kokosraspeln. Die
Zwiebel- und Chiliwürfel fügen Sie nun hinzu und arbeite nach und nach noch das Wasser unter.

Anschließend teilen Sie den Teig in 4 Portionen und formen ihn jeweils zu einer Kugel. Nebenbei erhitzen Sie
1 Esslöffel des Speiseöls in einer Pfanne (etwa 18 Zentimeter Durchmesser) bei mittlerer Hitze. Dann geben Sie
1 Teigkugel in die Pfanne und drücken den Teig mit einem Löffel zu einem etwa 1/2 Zentimeter dicken Fladen.
Dieser Fladen wird von jeder Seite etwa 4 Minuten hellbraun gebraten. Vor dem Wendengeben Sie noch 1 Esslöffel
Speiseöl in die Pfanne. Auf die gleiche Weise bereiten Sie die restlichen 3 Rotis zu.

Unser Tipp:
Diese Fladenbrote schmecken warm wie auch Kalt gut.
