Menge: 1 Portion

500 Gramm Kürbisfleisch, in Stücke geschnitten (Hokkaido-Kürbis)
1 Liter Wasser
125 Milliliter Essig, 10%igen
200 Gramm Zucker
2 Nelken
etwas Zimt
etwas Ingwer, im Stück

den Hokkaido-Kürbis putzen und in gleichgroße Würfel schneiden. Anschließend in einen großen Topf geben.
Ist dieser etwa zu 2/3 mit Kürbis gefüllt, kommen die oben angegeben Zutaten alle dazu.
Anschließend alles vermischen und kochen lassen. Sobald der Kürbis glasig wird, ist er gar.
