1 reife Papaya (mit kaltem Wasser abspülen, schälen, entkernen und in Würfel schneiden)
1 kleine Salatgurke (mit kaltem Wasser abspülen und in dünne Scheiben schneiden)
1 kleine rote Paprika (mit kaltem Wasser abspülen, entkernt und fein gewürfelt)
1 kleine rote Zwiebel (fein gehackt)
2 Esslöffel Limettensaft (frisch gepresst)
2 Esslöffel Pflanzenöl (zum Beispiel Sonnenblumenöl oder Rapsöl)
1 Teelöffel Ahornsirup oder Agavendicksaft (optional, je nach Süße der Papaya)
1 Teelöffel Salz
1 Prise schwarzer Pfeffer
Frische Minze oder Koriander (gehackt, zum Garnieren)

Zubereitungsschritte:

1. Zutaten vorbereiten:

Spülen Sie Papaya, Gurke und Paprika mit kaltem Wasser ab.

Schneiden Sie die Papaya in mundgerechte Würfel, die Gurke in dünne Scheiben und die Paprika in kleine Würfel.

Hacken Sie die Zwiebel fein.

2. Dressing anrühren:

Vermengen Sie den Limettensaft mit Pflanzenöl, Salz, Pfeffer und Ahornsirup in einer kleinen Schüssel.

3. Alles vermengen:

Geben Sie Papaya, Gurke, Paprika und Zwiebel in eine große Schüssel.

Gießen Sie das Dressing darüber.

Vermengen Sie alles vorsichtig mit einem Löffel.

4. Kühlen und servieren:

Lassen Sie den Salat 10–15 Minuten im Kühlschrank ziehen.

Garnieren Sie vor dem Servieren mit frischer Minze oder Koriander.

Beilage:
Glutenfreie Maiscracker oder Kokos-Chips passen sehr gut als knusprige Ergänzung zum fruchtigen Salat.
