2 Tassen gemischte Früchte (zum Beispiel Erdbeeren, Blaubeeren, Mango, Ananas)
1 Tasse Wasser oder Saft (zum Beispiel Orangensaft)
1/4 Tasse Zucker oder Süßungsmittel nach Wahl (zum Beispiel Ahornsirup oder Agavendicksaft)
Saft einer halben Zitrone

Außerdem:
etwas Frischhaltefolie

Füllen Sie als erstes die Früchte in ein grobes Sieb, tauchen Sie es in eine Schüssel mit kaltem Wasser und lassen Sie die Beeren danach gut abtropfen, bevor Sie sie eventuell von den Stielansätzen befreien und dann in kleine Stücke schneiden. Anschließend geben Sie die Früchte in eine Schüssel.

Dann erhitzen Sie das Wasser oder den Saft mit dem Zucker oder dem Süßungsmittel in einem Kochtopf und rühren dabei mit einem Schneebesen, bis sich der Zucker aufgelöst hat.
Danach geben Sie den Saft der halben Zitrone in den Kochtopf und gießen das Gemisch über die Früchte. Nun decken Sie die Schüssel mit der Folie ab und stellen sie für mindestens 60 Minuten oder über Nacht in den Kühlschrank zum durchziehen, damit sich die Aromen verbinden.

Zum Schluss nehmen Sie vor dem Servieren die Fruchtschale aus dem Kühlschrank und garnieren sie gegebenenfalls mit frischen Früchten garnieren.

Sie können dieses Rezept auch an Ihre speziellen Bedürfnisse anpassen, indem Sie beispielsweise das Zucker- oder Süßungsmittel reduzieren oder weglassen und stattdessen mehr Früchte verwenden.
