100 Milliliter roter Portwein
100 Milliliter Apfelessig (siehe Tipp)
75 Gramm Zucker
1 Lorbeerblatt
1 Nelke
1/2 Teelöffel Zimt
etwas Salz
etwas Cayennepfeffer
2 Aprikosen für die Garnitur

Aprikosen entsteinen und in kleine Würfel schneiden. Zwiebeln
pellen, sehr fein würfeln. Alle Zutaten aufkochen, 30 - 40
Minuten unter gelegentlichem Rühren auf 1 oder Automatik-
Kochstelle 3 - 4 zu einem Kompott einkochen. Danach pikant
würzen, mit in Spalten geschnittenen Aprikosen garnieren, warm
oder kalt zum Fleisch servieren.
