Menge: 3 Portionen

3 Esslöffel weiße Mehlk
3 Esslöffel Margarine
3 Esslöffel Ketchup
3 mittelgroße Zwiebeln
500 Milliliter Gemüsefond
nach eigenem Belieben Tafelsalz
nach eigenem Belieben Pfeffer, frisch aus der Mühle

Ziehen Sie zuerst die Zwiebeln ab und schneiden Sie sie dann in Ringe. Dann zerlassen Sie die Margarine in einem Topf und dünsten darin die Zwiebeln glasig. Danach bestäuben Sie die Zwiebelwürfel mit einem Sieb weißem Mehl (mit einem Sieb damit es keine Klumpen gibt) und rühren dabei kräftig. Anschließend geben Sie das Ketchup dazu und rühren nochmals und gießen die Zutaten dann mit Wasser auf, bis die Sauce die gewünschte Konsistenz erreicht hat.

Zum Schluss schmecken Sie die Zwiebelsauce bitte mit Tafelsalz und Pfeffer ab.
