Menge: 5 Portionen

2 Zwiebeln
2 Knoblauchzehen
2 Chilischoten, rote
2 Esslöffel Rapsöl
1 große Dose Aprikosen
100 Gramm Gewürzgurken
300 Milliliter Tomatenketchup
4 Esslöffel Agavendicksaft
1 Orange, abgerieben; Schale und Saft
nach eigenem Belieben Tafelsalz

Ziehen Sie die Zwiebeln und den Knoblauch ab und hacken Sie beides fein. Dann halbieren Sie
die Chilischote, entfernen eventuell die Kerne (wenn Sie es nicht so scharf mögen) und
schneiden die Schote in feine Ringe. Danach dünsten Sie alle drei Zutaten in 1 Esslöffel heißem
Rapsöl in einem Topf an.

Anschließend lassen Sie die Aprikosen abtropfen, schneiden die Aprikosen und die Gurken klein
und pürieren sie mit einem Pürierstab. Nun geben Sie die pürierten Zutaten mit dem Ketchup
zur Zwiebelmischung, erhitzen das Ganze und schmecken die Sauce mit dem Saft der Orange,
der abgeriebenen Orangenschale, dem Agavendicksaft, dem Tafelsalz und etwas Pfeffer
pikant ab.

Unsere Tipps:

zum Beispiel Dressings, Saucen und Marinaden eine köstliche Süße und sorgt für eine ausgewogene,
aromatische Weichheit.

Weitere Tipps:
Studien zeigen, dass zu viel Salz im Essen ungesund ist - zu wenig kann aber auch schädlich sein. Die deutsche Gesellschaft für Ernährung (DGE) empfiehlt täglich sechs Gramm Salz, was etwa einem Teelöffel entspricht, oder gar die fünf Gramm, zu denen die Weltgesundheitsorganisation rät!
